I know, what a load of bollocks, The AFL must be pretty unintelligent challenging West Coast and Adelaide, the two most powerful clubs atm in all respects.
If they change the father/son rule, we have to get rid of the salary cap, seems fair and it could be done.
Imagine how good we wud be if we had no salary cap, Eagles got alllllllot of money in the coffers...

I say WC and Crows tackle the AFL head on.
This has got to stop.
I heard that Anderson will be sacked at the end of the year anyway.

It actually makes sense, as much as I hate it.
Why would you have an overlap year?

you is a player supposed to have reached 150 games at the eagles in 87? (or any year up to 92 for that matter)
the eagles will get an exception to the rule for the mortons i think..
just like myles krakouer got an exception for the age change..

Anything to back that up?
I think its highly unlikely.
Krakouer got an exemption because he was only just outside the age barier which only recently changed.
The Mortons getting a free ride to WC is alot more serious than some draft hopeful being made eligble.

I hope the fact that we already have Mitch on our list will give us an exemption, not basing that on anything, just clutching at straws really :(

I can't see the Eagles getting any sort of favours from the AFL to allow them to draft more Mortons. If it was Collingwood and they wanted another Cloke or Shaw it would be a different matter of course !
