At the game I noticed a few decisions that I believed were a bit harsh but I'm not a person to have a go at the umpires, I sit level 2 so I dont get the closest view of what happened in the scruff of the packs but getting a whole view of level one all us Blues followers seemed less than displeased with the umpiring decisions, then during half time i recieved 2 messages *(from non carlton suppourters) claiming the umpires were murdering us...thats a way I wouldnt have put it, then after the game I got a phone call from a follow Blue and the first thing they said was 'Bloody Umpires'...
So where we really that harshly done by the umpires?
We did get some shocking decisions go against us but we lost the game through not manning up not by poor umpiring. We let them chip the ball around to each other and keep possession when the game was in the balance.

i would have to say that early on there were a few dubious calls that resulted in goals to the swannies, but lack of manning up when the game was there to win really cost us.

That's right. Most of the bad dicisions were early in the match, and scores were leveled in the third quarter...

In the last quarter when the umpire sheparded for Hall so he could kick his only goal was crap, he should have been brought back. Also when Whitnall kicked it off balance on his wrong side while being tackled along the boundry line and it was given intentional was a joke. Definetly some poor decisions but then again they handed the Swans a Premiership last year so in the scheme of things.

Hahaha. Not surprised it was paid against him though. How many 'Lance Whitnall' penalties are there in the AFL atm? :p
Yes we were. No doubt about. Am watching the webcast now and the commentators have mentioned how appalling the umpiring has been. The game was effectively handed to the swans at every important moment.
Shambles.
