The club had until 11 today to either challenge or except the one match ban. It's now 11:46, does anyone have any news on what the club has decided to do?

Would have liked him to challenge it, I'm sure we could have got it downgraded from medium impact to low impact, which might have allowed him to play this week?

Inconsistent Tribunal.
Thats an under statement, how Hall was allowed to ply in last years grand final and Fev gets a week for that is beyond comprehension.:thumbsd:

Should have Challenged it especially with the importance of next weeks game, could be the difference between 2-2 and 1-3 a huge loss.:thumbsd:

If it was a "No-name" player that did what Fev did, it wouldn't even have been looked at twice. Suspended on his reputation.
Absolute disgrace!

I was told on Sunday night that they were going to challenge it. Now what has changed since then?
Unless both Waite and Fisher have made quicker than expected recoveries in the last 2 days and are both likely to play this week I would be challenging this ruling.
If 1 plays which is the likely scenario all that does is give us 1 target up forward and thats about 2 less than we need. Deluca might be servicable again like last week but is more likely to be week 1 and 2 form based on his history. Question marks on Kennedy or Setanta if 1 of those comes in on form for Setanta and an interrupted pre season and Kennedy on match fitness and his shoulder. So they are both pretty big risks.
So it would seem 1 of Fisher/Waite and 1 of Kennedy/Setanta to come in.
Heaven help us if they both break down early. Hopefully Bannister gets a chance this week for Lappin and his pre season and form this year in the VFL has been first rate overall and deserves a shot at it.
Cant agree with not challenging the tribunal ruling over "medium contact". He was not hurt and contact was not head high but shoulder.

Grant Williams on 927 said due to points carrying over from previous reports it was not possible to get it down to less than a week.
