sounds alright to me!!

id like to try and get Joel Tessman from Port Magpies who is a very impressive aboriginal rover. ALso Aaron Davey from Port who is a Peter Burgoyne sized aboriginal player who kicked 43 goals in 18 games in Ports reserves.

Luke Guerra i would like to get! Eichner yeah probably and Lokan has impressed me ever since i saw him in Under 19s a few years ago.

True, Tessman does have something, but I reckon Port could leave him another year pretty safely.

We got

Jordan Barham - TAC Cup BOG for Calder Cannons
Jaxon Crabb - Former West Coast player who didn't show much.
Mark McKenzie - Player from Northern Knights that I don't know much about, but remember Collingwood fans being wraps for mid-season.
Nick Jackman - South Adelaide player that trained with Power.

We took Crabb instead of Rutten. Adelaide got Rutten with their next pick. Not happy, Jan. Still, at least Port Magpies get a SANFL mini-draft pick now.

McKenzie has similar credentials to Nick Stevens, by the way. Same club, both B&F.

Its good to see that the Port Magpies will get a pick in the SANFL Draft but we might as well not have one after all.

Seeing that Damien Hardwick should play all the games this year for the Power he will most likely be left to the last pick being Port Adelaides. Its great to have a player of his ilk on the Magpies list but if he doesn't play any games there is not much point having a pick.

There'll be other choices...

Brooks, White, Reilly, Finnin, Schuback, Hardwick, Barham, Crabb, McKenzie are all up for grabs, which means every club gets a player (except Glenelg who owe North a pick for taking theirs last year). Centrals will likely end up with Hardwick.

Jaxon Crabb could be just what the Magpies need!! A bit of pace in the midfield!! Hopefully he will be around till the Magpies pick!

I'd rather get McKenzie, Finnin or Schuback

At the Crows members meeting they had footage of all the newly drafted players

Schuback looks a very handy type who could play SANFL straight away. Would be a good pick up.

Finnin is still not quite ready I don't think but is a forward of the futrue if he grows a couple more centimtres

Lets hope tehy don't get home sick though you guys probably hope they do!

Well, it makes no difference to us :) We're just happy that ours don't get homesick.

Does anyone know anything about Jackmann.
Is he related to Ian Jackmann - tought left footed rover for South who ended his career with Port (also a stint with West Torrens)

No doubt about ya Macca. Should be a talent scout

I put Daveys name forward as often as I could back then on many different boards. Still dunno why we over looked him.

I've got a feeling the Ware and Pearce selections were partly Davey-inspired, especially with the prospect of no Gavin in the side in 2 years time.
