Who would you prefer in your team - Wells or Delidio?

Deledio

Deledio is actually adept at kicking the ball, while Wells footskills are overrated.

That if Wells actually decides to kick the ball, instead of sprinting as fast as he can in an arc and then handballing to a teammate that's in barely any better position than he is.

Deledio also, despite being at such a young stage of his career, hasn't shown the incredible ability to go missing when the going gets tough that Daniel Wells possesses.

I think you got it wrong.

When the going gets tough, Wells steps up and is nearly always tghe matchwinner. Agaisnt Freo in the last quarter he egnited us, Carlton won it for us, in the final where we got SMASHED he got 21 possies and kept K.Cornes to 16, and also one of our best on the w/e.

If anything, Grant and Harvey are the ones that go mising for us too often.

Deledio easily. Younger, faster and more skillful :)

He was missing against collingwood. He was no where near one of your best.
His kick for goal was an absolute shank which did the biggest leg break ive ever seen and happened to go thru.

Ah no, he was top 5 for us easily.

The only ones who did better was Harvey, Harris, Rocca and Haley played well too. 16 possies and did alot of the hard stuff. Was definately a good player for us.

Wells went missing between late in the 2nd quarter and through the entire 3rd quarter.

Only had 3 possessions in the third when the Kangaroos went down by 9 goals.

I wont vote on this but would like to point out that every week Wells gets the opposition best tagger, Delidio doesn't. I would like to see what happens when delidio gets the best tag week in week out.

I would agree with that, it frustrates the hell outta me sometimes.

if it wasnt for kane johnson we'd have them both. But yet another great long term decision from the tigers as Kane will lead the club to a premiership........thpppp! worst captain since richie at the hawks

A good mate of mine who is a north supporter has been saying for some time that wells is very overated. After going to the game on Monday I see what he means. He had lots of cheap possestions in junk time when the sting had gone out of the game. when I see him on tv he always seems to float in and out of the game. He has talent but has alot of work to do get live up o his potential .

Deledio easily

you reckon wells gets tagged before harvey and grant?? A coach would need to be shot if he paid more attention to wells than these 2 .

Delidio is far more consistent at the moment. Much better overhead and tackling.
Wells has more freakish ability IMO and has shown he can be a match winner.

IMO the main difference is that Delidio doesn't get the same attention from opposition teams that Wells gets.
North does not have enough threatening midfielders that soak up the tags to free Wells.

His time will come.
Go Roos:D

Gets!

Brodie Holland is your number 1 tagger. Who did he play on when you played the Roos ?
