Anyone know anything about this quick midfielder from the Western Jets?

A source I have has strongly pumped him up and thinks he could be a chance for the AFL draft and if not, definitely a good VFL footballer next season.

Being a big Hawks fan I thought I'd check him out and was able to obtain a tape of his last year.. Marc Murphy had 11 touches and 3 goals in the first term, yet Richards held him goalless and to nine touches for the rest of the match, whilst gathering 11 or 12 himself. (did my best counting!)

A great tagger and can run with a player all day.. holding Murphy is no mean feat.

Does anyone have any more info about him??

No hope to get drafted, woould not say he is quick. Does not get enough of the ball, good stopper but.

Settle down lads - no need to make things personal.

Just after some opinion, also just found out he is the Jets leadership group this year too.

At 170 something cm and 68 kg, and an average of around 10 possesions a game yeah he is gonna get drafted. Idiots.

He is a good run with player, last year thhe coach said to him we wont u to have a go at just getting the footy dont run with anyone, and he just struggled to get it. I dont think he will get drafted.

Bit harsh pieface, he was never 68kg, last year he was 72-73 and hes registered as 80 now, but only 178cm. Unlikely to get drafted because he doesnt get enough of the footy, and isnt what I'd call quick either. Very good defensive player, but doesnt show much with his attacking ability, but then again when the Jets won last year against Oakleigh he got 21 touches and 3 votes from the umps so maybe thats what they need from him.

Watched the game yesterday and thought i'd keep an eye on this bloke. He was just ok today, put his head over the ball and got a lil bit of the ball. Seemed to play all over the ground though, so not sure if that was because he was not performing where he was or they needed him elsewhere. Wont get drafted.
