B: Wirrpanda, Glass, Hunter
HB: Waters, Graham, Stenglein
C: A.Embley, Cousins, Braun
HF: Fletcher, Staker, Nicoski
F: Sampi, Lynch, Seaby
FOLL: Cox, Judd, Kerr
I/C (from): Adkins, Chick, Gaspar, B.Jones, R.Jones, Rosa, Selwood
No changes at this stage - Gaspar, Jones and, Adkins added to the extended bench. You'd have to say the adkins addition is the most bizzarre selection decision of the year, unless Perth have the bye and they just want someone to travel......
You'd suspect no changes unless Cousins doesn't come up.

Adkins would only be a travelling emergency, allowing the likes of Priddis to get some game time with their respective WAFL sides.
I have nothing against him, however if you were picking your best 25, Adkins surely wouldn't be in it at this stage.
Hopefully Hansen will be ready for next week, however I'm certain they won't risk him if still in doubt. We need him fit and firing come the second half of the season.

Yeah I just checked and Perth do have the bye - smart move by the club I guess especially when they can't consider Armstrong

Yep exactly.
I don't like it when they select a young player as an emergency, especially when they could be impressing for their WAFL club.
I guess it's good to give the likes of Hurn and Priddis a chance to travel once in a while though.

I reckon we need an extra tall in defence.
The Kangas have Corey Jones (perfect match-up for Bones), and then Rocca, Thompson and possibly Brown in attack.
I reckon it would be a mistake to swing Graham back into defence. He's coming along nicely as a tall forward, and is a far better option in attack than Seaby.
I think Bones should definitely come in for Rosa or Selwood.

Selwood is an OUTSTANDING run with player for his age, no way he would ever be dropped. Contributes far too much to the team
Rosa will go well before him
wouldnt be surprised to see Gaspar line up, very good game by him this week and would be a good match for Sav
Selwood is nowhere near being dropped.

Rosa should not get dropped he been in very good form and could play a good role for west coast this week.

Bones is hardly a tall - more of a mid size. Chick or Stenglein could play on Corey Jones - he ain't exactly a world beater
Were much more likely to run North off there feet then doing anything else, team shud stay unchanged unless Cuzz doesnt pull up in that case play Bones and move Stinger back to the midfield.
Selwood is so far away from being dropped its not funny..... we may aswell drop Cox while were at it :p

I think that Selwood would be the perfect match up /run with for Brent Harvey good speed and size there is no way Selly would get dropped.

No chance Selwood being dropped.
Kept Delidio very quiet on the weekend. So much so that Wallace was letting him know about it at 3 quarter time

Brett Jones will come into the team i think and most likely for Beau Waters who's being a bit out of touch or for Ben Cousins if his hamstring isn't upto it, in which case BW stay sin the team.
Either way, given our solid form against the Kangaroos abysmal form and our strong record at Manuka (i don't think we've lost there yet....?? I could be way off the mark though) there is no reason to think we won't win this game.

I see no reason to drop him
I see no reason to drop him
what about "hes out of form, his contribution overall is the least of any player, and after a year out of football his disposal is sloppy, his decision making is suspect and his fitness is way down, where there are players in the WAFL playing alot better than him".
other than that though, there is no reason.
(ps, i totally rate waters, and think he going to be awesome, but hes out of form and needs time to get some fitness and sharpness back. and there are a couple of deserving players in the WAFL)

Rosa has alot less impact on a game
If he's still struggling come round 8 or 9 then maybe give him a run in the waffle, right now he needs game time at the highest level.

i disagree on both counts. rosa is still running at the end of the game, his disposal isnt that great, but its better that waters is at the moment, and alot more frequent too, hence his impact on the game is greater. now his impact on his opponent, thats another story ;)
his game time at the highest level will come, hes good enough. no need to rush it.
