Does anyone know whether music CDs suffer from the 'zone' or 'region' arrangement that is applicable to DVDs???
Can we take a CD to another country and be able to play it?
Just music CDs, I'm talking about.

Mine work, but there aint too many Psychotic Turnbuckle fans around here to appreciate them.
You should have no problem.
Anyone encountered the newer CD's with the lock to prevent making them into MP3's??? Must be some whizzo out there working on the crack...anyone know???
cds dont suffer from the zones that dvd's have placed on them

ya... music cd's are fine...
re that mp3 prevention on new cd's...
i think its a technology called cactus... when ripped/encoded to mp3, it produces an awful screeching/inaudible sound..
but.. i wouldnt fear at all... last time i checked, there were cracks for this already ~ and, i think there were possible lawsuits... if u own a cd, u should be able to make copies of it... this cactus, screeching sh1t, could possible damage hifi equipment...
