So it now begs the question, with Lloyd out for the season, is Jim to be the week in week out Capt or is it just for this week?

I think the club announced last night that the captaincy will be rotated.

After Hird on Anzac Day i'd rotate between JJ, Fletcher and Lucas.

Yeah but that was before we needed one for the season. I think James should get first option BUT it should be his choice, not pushed on him.

I'm not suggesting we will, because I still believe we're too good to, but if we ended up bottom 4 again or maybe even bottom 2, could it convince Jimmy to play on another season?

Yeah but that was before we needed one for the season.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.
I have a feeling the club may have known about the Lloyd injury at the time.

This will probably be hirds last year so i reckon give the job to someone else eg: Lucus or felch i reckon anyway there to players been round. My IMO i think Lucus it might make him play more constant and thats what the bombers need now.

i know people won't agree with this! but i would make dean soloman captain for the reason of that it might sting him back into action (the solly of 2000-2002)with the knowing fact that he has to lead by examp;e on the field and just leave him at half back and tell him just to go out there and back yourself everytime.

I thought Hilley showed enough yesterday to label him a future captain. Make him Vice under Hirdy for the rest of the year and leave the goal kicking to Lloydy L

FWIW i reckon if they give the captaincy to Hille it could really be the making of him and if he thrives being captain would it be the worst thing in the world leaving it with him and letting Lloyd concentrating on kicking goals?

I have a feeling David Hille might get the gig for the rest of the year.

The club has been saying for awhile that Hile is a future captain. Congrats to him. He is a really nice guy and I wish all the best to him.

good to see a frankston lad be named captain of a large victorian club, hopefully this is the making of him like primus for port, well without the injuries of course. because primus just took on this ever imposing figure that just sent shivers through opposing ruckman.
