Only if you have Foxtel, as usual.

I'm listening to 774 - half way through second quarter, North 6.6.42 still leading WCE 4.2.26. Sounds like we are well on top but not kicking straight enough to be far enough ahead so far.

If the roos were a better team we would be getting smashed. The eagles midfield seem to believe Staker can mark with his feet... when it lands about a metre in front of him

Some of the delivery into our half forward area has been shameful. Like watching a dockers match. Our run doesn't seem to be too good at the moment, either. Hopefull picks up in the second half otherwise I think the roos will beat us :(

How more biased do you think Carey can get?? He is a f*((*ing tool that bloke.

what a frustrating half for the Eagles. On the up side we are playing terribly and are only down by 7 points so if we can start to turn it on we should win this one.

Going into the forward line for The Eagles has been terrible. Balls coming at feet, three feet over the head, wide. Pretty much everywhere except at the attackers chest.

There are a lot of guys for the Eagles who are missing today - Braun, Embley, Sampi have had virtually zero effect on the game, Chick got a bit of the ball and was good in patches but not quick enough for Harding, and even Fletcher hasn't been at his blistering best.

I think this shows how much effect one guy can have on a team (Cousins with West Coast, and other players at other clubs) even when the play in a position where that team can adequately cover for their loss. But it's not just their loss as a good footballer but the mentality that goes with it for the team.

But credit to the Roos, they aren't playing outside of their talent levels and are doing everything required of them to take the lead at half time.

Tell me about it, I've had to put it on mute. Even before the bounce down he was cheering for the Kangas.

As for the game, Kangaroos are playing very well and have definately bounced back from the past two weeks. WC have frustrated me especially in the forward line.

50-47 Kangas way.

I've given up - I've changed my amplifier on to the ABC commentary on the radio. Only problem is it's out by a few seconds but hey, it's better than listening to Carey.

hawk, off topic slightly, but I thought when we played you guys he was just as biased. Your thoughts?

The Eagles should win, never seen a side kick so many easy goals in and around the goal square as the Eagles.

Eagles out by 5 goals now. No good from the Roos, they've been stuffed in the last 1 and half quarters.

Great win by the boys, really stepped it up after half time. Kudos also go to the Kangas, the margain doesn't really do you guys justice.

Also congrats to Glassy on his 100th and Staker's 50.

WEll pretty solid win by the Eagles in the end. The kangaroos are traditionally a tough team to beat after a big loss, and more so after two, and we did the job.

A slow start but the second half was actually very impressive.

For those wondering why the roos are stuffed, look no futher than the interest in this thread. It was not on FTA and hardly any posts for the whole game.
