Nothing is surer than Holland playing next week. CJ & Motlop could be in with a chance too considering our injuries. Will be interesting to hear how Bate went from anyone who went to the game.

Are my eyes decieving me? It cant be?

Holland will return next week for sure, probably for either Neitz or Johnson.

Hope Bater had an ok game and will hopefully be in for McLean if he doesnt get up, otherwise Motlop and CJ will fight it out for that spot.

Moloney is injured.

Smith is back. You'll see people... I will get to report on my adopted player this year, playing, AFL.... yes it will happen. I'm a believer. :o

Was there for the 2s game only, watching Werribee but of course kept a close eye on Sandy. This is what I saw:

Newtown - looks a player. Kicked 5 or so goals, led strongly, took some good marks. It's only twos, but has potential.

Belly played a half and looked ok, he's a big boy but didn't do a great deal.

Gianfagna and Neville were serviceable at best, Bode injured his shoulder in the first half, but didn't do much up to that point anyway.

My brother saw the main game and said Philly Read was killing it for Sandy, although I don't know how accurate that is. He's a Melbourne supporter too so he hasn't gotten him mixed up with anyone else.

Surely he will replace Neitz he looked like he was in a great deal of pain during the match agaisnt Sydney on Sunday he is unlikey to play for a while now i would think. Does anyone know how Paul johnsons shoulder is? He slamed into the bean pole Sydney Ruckman in the 2nd or 3rd quarter and was dropping his shouder for a while until he was taken off.

When will Chris Johnson get a game again. He looks to be producing the goods down at sandy.

hopefully CJ doesn't turn into a Ward-esc player (VFL star, AFL very average)

if he gets time on the wing then there is no reason why this should happen.

We'd have to be pretty desperate to play 426 but we do need some tall timber and if Neita and PJ both dont get up, he may just well come in...

I never thought it would happen.

Apparently he was ok on the weekend, but it's far too early to tell. He is playing 1s so that's a good sign for the moment.
