Mortgage House today announced that it had secured the major sponsorship of the St. Kilda Football Club in the AFL competition for the next three years
Managing Director of Mortgage House, Ken Sayer, said “we consider this to be an exceptional opportunity for Mortgage House and we look forward to working closely with St. Kilda in the future”.
In just over 5 years, Mortgage House has risen to be the second largest non-bank Home Loan lender of new business in Australia, and Sayer said he was excited to be joining forces with St. Kilda in the AFL.
“Most people recognise the AFL to be the premier sporting competition in Australia, and our association with St. Kilda adds to our extensive Sports Sponsorship portfolio which also includes the Parramatta Rugby League Club in the NRL and the Sydney Kings Basketball team” Sayer said.
Co-inciding with this Sponsorship deal, Sayer also said that Mortgage House will be accelerating their expansion into Victoria next year…“we already have a branch situated at North Melbourne, but we will also be offering the members at St. Kilda an opportunity to access our Home Loans through the specifically designed Saints Mortgage scheme, and we also plan to open a regional office in Melbourne early next year” he stated.
With an extensive rebuilding process in force at St. Kilda for next year, Sayer said the platform was being laid for an exciting future.
“When you combine players of the calibre of Robert Harvey and ‘Spider’ Everett with some potential superstars of the future, and marry them with a harmonious Coaching staff, we believe that they will be a serious Top Eight contender in the near future”.
