Darren Lehman has been announced as Yorkshire's new captain.
This may not sound that much but up until less than 10 years ago the only people allowed to play for Yorkshire were those born in the county.This led to loads of stories of fathers driving their pregnant wives back to Yorkshire to give birth as they would never forgive themselves if the kid became a cricketer & couldn't play for the White Rose County.
Then Yorkshire opened it's gates to 'outsiders' & now Lehman has become the first foregn captain.He also averages more for the county than any player including greats such as Hutton & Boycott.
