I don't think the Saints can play much worse and yet they are only 5 points behind.

Inept standard game so far - the amount of foolish errors both sides have made in their defensive errors has been staggering.

How many times have Freo players taken on the tackler only to place the ball on the ground or throw it and not be pinged? Must have been near on a dozen in the first half alone.
And clearly Reiwoldt only has one arm.

Game still alive but the Saints to me would have to pull something out of the bag to win it. Only 16 points but such a hamfisted approach to the game today with Freo still on their game. Freo should win it from here, just some good direct footy to Pav and McPharlin required.

Realistically, the saints are miles ahead on the free kicks and we've had most of the ball.

IIRC we were 15 points up with 10 mins to go in this game last year... anything could happen - and we know what Freo are capable of doing... :o
Are we EVER going to get a holding the ball where a St Kilda player dives on top of it? They seem to be more than happy to pay them against us.
But at least we're playing hard footy. Haven't seen it for....well, ever.

Yeah I'm not really sure. Freo has the wind in the last quarter.
Freo appear to have the wobbles a bit, and the Saints look a lot better now they've taken they're talls off and stuck the little blokes up forward.
St Kilda have been very undisciplined today, but appear to have their tails up a little.
I'll tip Freo to win by a very small margin. Maybe 8-15 points.
