Watching the game last night was anybody else as *&^^%$# off as I was about Milburn being left on the fwd line, he is arguably the best rebound defender in the business but yet he was left on the fwd line doing absoloutely jack @#$%, while the Swans medium/tall fwds were having a field day, the opportunity was perfect to throw dash back there but was left fwd twiddling his thumbs. Dash is one of the meanest stingiest defenders going round, I am not saying we would have won with him down there but for #$%^ sake use him where he is best suited as a defender, he is clearly not a full time fwd, sure throw him up there to exploit opposition defences when the team is going well, but if we are struggling use your troops where they are best suited to the team! Your average U/10 Assistant coach could see that changes needed to be made:mad:

He had 10 touches playing up fwd, he averages high 20's as a defender, I am no rocket scientist but it's painfully obvious where he should be played!
He couldn't get in the game up forward. He should've been moved into the midfield or defence earlier.I would've liked to see him swap with Ling.Ling was a FF at the Falcons. Why couldn't he play at CHF ? He's got good hands.

Ling is a very good mark, esp. above his head. Good idea as he has been abit off lately, chuck him up forward. Slow as hell on the lead but a godo contested mark.

You're spot on about the rebound from the defense, last night we looked real slow and stagnant bringing it out. We need Milburn there for that, maybe Wojcinski too. Having Scarlett back will help, and eventually Harley's cool head as well.

OMG!
You are so right I have been saying that all along.
It is so frustrating, watching that, I can't understand why Thompson did it.
