No! :(
It would be fantastic for the game, but would lessen the chance of my team (India), winning the Cup. :p

I'm sick of all this speculation. He doesn't play one-day cricket, he doesn't even get selected for Victoria anymore. We won a World Cup without him, and were undefeated. We don't need him.

I'm with you. Shane said he wasn't going to be a contender about 6 months ago. What has changed?

And his record in the West Indies from memory isn't very good.
He has said 100 times he won't be playing one day cricket.
So really he'll look pretty bad if he comes out now and says he will be.

Like India have a chance anyway outside India! FFS the 3 teams to beat are the Aussies, SA, and Pakistan with NZ as the "smokey" team for the tournament!

I see Ponting said 'if Warne wants to play, he should make his mind up pretty soon'.
So what is the media (Jon Pierik) headline 'Ponting wants Warne for cup'.

Seeing that he's said he won't play, I suspect there will be talk right up till the World Cup, maybe even the final.

Is that a joke?
When Murali gets 110 wickets at an average of 8.5 he's crap, but when Hogg does it it's OK?
If Warney comes back to One Day cricket - AT THE MCG. i'll boof him!
