in the last quater when we where up by 1 goal it was a free kick 50 out it was a stupid decision by the umpire would have definely been a goal if he got it.

A bit rich coming from an Essendon supporter. Maybe you should have a look at the Winderlich free, or even the goal Lucas got after he shoved Dawson square in the back. Without the umpires assisting you, you wouldn't have been in the game. Oh, and what about Dean Solomon's "goal" in 2005. Get over it.

wouldnt have been in the game we had more inside 50's???? But we shouldnt be looking at the lucas free, not that i remember seeing it we had our chances and unfortunately players like bradley, bolton and monfries kept the hawks in it.

Every game of football has equal frees for sides both for and against. Any difference to either side is a clear sign of bias.

I think you will find (if you watch the replay) that hird was himself shoved in the back, forcing him into Sewell. Open your eyes champ...

The only player that would've pushed Hird was Lucas. Hird still shoved Sewell and it should've been a free. Open your eyes champ. You got a lot of iffy frees, and a lot of obvious frees were not paid to us.

Im an dons supporter and i dont think that the umpires really had any bearing on the result. Hawthorn probably deserved to win on the day. What really :D:D:D:Ded me off was the hawks fans shouting "BALLLLL" after every bloody tackle they made. Jesus Christ give it a break. They may have overtaken tigers fans as the most annoying in regards to yelling "BALLLL".

The more you go on about it the more the opposistion lap it up. I love how hawfforn fans go on about the `01 prelim. How supporters go on about our cheating. It`s music to my ears. I`ll never blub about a result, you just get on with it.

well it was true your guys dropped it , we did not get the free if our guy dropped it your guy did get the free , i agree the umpiring did not have any bearing on the result , we were just lucky monfries did not score in that last kick for goal attempt that he did .
there was a guy playing for you lot heffo he was great stuff
