Seeing this forum isn't used how about turning it into a Kingsley Hunter forum.
A place to reflect on the good times and look forward to the breathtaking feats that lay ahead. Also a place for the ladies to reveal their Kingsley related fantasies and desires. And we won't leave the guys out, this can be a place where you can feel free to reveal your admiration and envy for the great man without fear of your sexuality being questioned.
It would be a place to turn to when things aren't going well and your feeling down. Like an old friend.
So hows about it Bluey???

Well how bout we change all the board names!
Australian Football League can be changed to the Caroline Wilson board.
The music board to the Molly Meldrum board?
And the Collingwood board can be named the Eddie McGuire board.

I am going to remain calm as I know you didn't mean it. We all say some silly things we don't mean at times and I am sure when you wake up tomorrow you will realise the error you have made and feel awful. If you don't feel awful I hope you die a slow and painful death :)

This kingsley craze is CRAZY, its taking over your lives, YOU CAN"T SEE STRAIGHT
As yet i see no reason to why he will be such a great player, and until i do, then i will keep thinking this is crazy.

Bulldog1954 is right.
Given that we are in recession and people will have more time to think, people can contemplate Kingsleys great achievments and speculate about the great times to come.
We could really help some people out here. I think it is our duty to do it.

Thats not the point Hitter. Kingsleys talents arent just confined to the forward line.
We all know if he just played on the forward that the 150 goal barrier would be smashed.

At the mighty Dockers Kingsley was held back. Their were players like Todd Ridley and Peter Mann holding down the key forward posts and Gerard didn't give Kinger as much of a go as he should have. Despite this immense competition Kingsley still managed to average over 2 goals a game which is not to bad when the side is averaging 4 goals a game.
When Kingsley was traded to the Dogs for the squirrel it was a new lease of life. His first year wasn't his best due to the Cook factor but since then he has blossomed into one of the finest players our game has to offer.
In 2000 Plough let Kingsley run amok in the backline where he could use his leap and speed to full effect. This year he overcame a bout of osteitis pubis pre-season, which is no mean feat in itself. He then proceeded to reak havoc on opposition forwards with his dashing runs through the middle.
He was also played forward at times sparinglt this year. For example against St Kilda he played one quarter there, he kicked 3 goals. He played one full game in the forward line this year, he kicked 7.
And in all seriousness finishing eight in the best and fairest ahead of more favoured players like Robbins shows he is no dud, particularly considering osteitis pubis ruined a lot of other players seasons. And is he does play forward I can tell you John Hay will be ****ting bricks :)

A tremendous idea.
Long, long overdue.
If bigfooty.com needs some more hits, then this is a sure-fire way to boost traffic.
Kingsley deserves something like this. It is a fitting tribute to a man who has given so much, but taken so little.

This could possibly be the best idea I've seen on Bigfooty
Is there anybofy on this earth more deserving of his own forum than the Great One?

Being a Bulldogs supporter and Kingsley being a Bulldogs player, i find it hard to disagree with the idea. While i do not understand the Kingsley phenomonen...it seems that there are a lot of ppl with a lot to say about the so called 'great man'. Plus it is also amusing to read the stuff u ppl come out with about him. :D

As self appointed President of the Danny Delre Appreciation Society I hope you are not being sarcastic in this instance. The DDAS can be a very fearsome bunch when their hero is the subject of any scorn or ridicule.
May I serve to remind you that the great Danny Delre single handedly destroyed Chris Langford in a match in 1992. The only man in the history of the universe to kick 5 in a quarter on the great Hawk full back (please note there is no disgrace in this for Langford as it was a regular occurence in those days). He also did the world a favour by swinging a former Hawk full back Russell Morris a complete 360 during a disagreement in a semi final when Morris played for Saints. :D

Hey, I don't muck around when it comes to people with hair like Danny Del Re. Whilst these Kingsley minions are admirable, I think that I'd join the DDAS. Only if you join the 'Danny Chook Fan Club' though. :p :D

Was that the day at the Western Oval in '92 when he out positioned Langford, ducked back took a brilliantly judged mark, held the ball up to the crowd, punched it in victory a couple of times, then kicked a point from the top of the goal square?
Just after half time at the Geelong Road end, I think. :D
BTW do the DDRAS exclusivly eat Del Re smallgoods?

Danny Del're is also the only footballer I know to be caught dancing on the bonnet of a cops car. There is no doubt Snozza was a groover. It almost goes without saying that our FF is a groover, do the names Minton-Connell, Hargraves, Ballantyne or Watts ring a bell.
But while the Snoz was tremendous he's no Kingsley

Well you can also say that Kingsley Hunter is so popular but your Yahoo Club for him has only got 14 members, it has been open for 6 months.
That means 2.33 members join up every month, not a huge success!!

The opera remains greatly unappreciated.
Most people are generally very dismissive when asked on their thoughts on the opera. They immediately turn their nose up and vent their ill-informed opinions on the subject. If there wasn't such a stigma attached to opera who knows how many more people would give it a go, and dare I say it, enjoy it.
Kingsley is like a fine opera.
