Thought I would start this thread so people can find their old mates or find out where their AFL or Country idols may have ended up. I would certainly love to know what happened to Tony Bahagier (Dont think that is the correct spelling) of Essendon. Was a great Rover/FP who missed a Grand Final in the same circumstances as Derek Kicket back in the 80's. Where did he end up and what is he doing now?

I've got one for you Ibis!

Where is gutsy??

Arrived on bigfooty some three months ago verbally attacking numerous Sunraysia footballers including a good mate of mine in badds. Then when the heat went onto him, he went missing......Considering he was continually questioning the bravery of some SFL players, I find it quite amusing that "gutsy" in fact might be the "softest" of them all!!

Yeah Ibis any idea where gutsy is? Reading some of gutsys posts below it would seem you two are pretty good mates (I think the same person), how would anyone know who the 1998 best interleague player was and all the other stuff in the first post!

Re: Most hated opposition Players

Jason Spivey. Played for South Mildura then went to Bendigo Pioneers. Played at Gleneld, Coburg, Morningside and Mt Gravatt. He got 4 weeks at Morningside for a big shirt front (slightly raised elbow apparently) 2 weeks for belting a bloke when at Mt Gravatt with one of the best 1 inch punches I ever saw and then got 1 week for the same hit on some Mildura player in the Sunraysia League. Bruised the fellas diaphram with one hit and the guy was carried off on a stretcher. Every team in Sunraysia hates him but wishes he was on thier side for his hardness and intimidation factor. This bloke can take a hit to. In a final last year an Irymple player punched him in the back of the head and he didn't even budge. Played with a broken ankle and injections in the shoulder for 3 weeks. Crazy mutha and hated by opposition teams. Thank god I am on his side.

Re: Best players in Country Vic

Tony Hickey - Coached and played in 9 Premierships. 2 X Sunraysia FL best and fairest. 2006 SFL interleague coach.
Jason Spivey - 2 time McLeod Medalist (Sunraysia FL best and Fairest) and 2 time best interleague player including last year having played with a broken ankle in the last game.
Matthew Walder. 2 League best and Fairest and 2006 interleague best player in the Wimmera League. One of the classiest players I ever seen. Is now 36 and coach of Wagga Tigers in ACT/NSW AFL and still beats everyone in the time trials running a 3km in under 10min.

Anyone know these guys and what do you think.

Re: Sunraysia Football league

My Top ten from 2005 in no particular order

1. Brad Eaton (Raining McLeod Medallist)
2. Craig Deckert (Best Ruckman - Previous McLeod Medallist)
3. Jason Bell (99 Goals - Nothing else to be said)
4. Jason Spivey (Most intimidating - 1998 & 2005 Jason Hosking medallist and 2 X McLeod medalist)
5. Ryan Hards (Most explosive and most talented youngter in the League)
6. Denato Deangilis (Classy, hard and skillfull - Hasn't shown his true ability in this league yet)
7. David Burns (Highly skilled, quick, classy footballer)
8. Denny Fox (No big man can match him around the ground - 5 time Sth Mildura B&F)
9. Glen Cumming (Booming Left footer very hard to match up on)
10. Peter Zappia (Mr Consistant - Why didn't Robinvale name him coach this year)

It aint me. For your info, Gutsy posted while I was playing on the weekend or didn't you see that. He obviously does know me there is no denying that, but a bit hard to be on here when you are in the rooms doing awards. I have almost 60 witnesses that can verify where I was. Secondly I was in Qld on another occassion with my daughter when he posted, so like I have said to everyone else, IT ISN"T ME so get off my back. If it was I would gladly admit to it.

Whatever tossa, you obviously gave a friend your password and told them what to post to try and clear you name! If its not you then you'd have to have a very good idea of who it was going by his posts.
