Usually ground level, it's closer to the action whereas the top level (especially in the Southern Stand) can look like antspotting.
Ground level in the Southern Stand is my favourite - the Western Stand just doesn't do it for me and there's not enough legroom in the Northern Stand. And I don't like the cramped wooden benches on the top of the Western Stand.
Although at Colonial, the top level seats are fairly good. Still close to the action - it almost feels like you're sitting on top of the goalpost.

Ground Level. Dunno why, we just always seem to end up there. :D lol I just prefer to be closer to the action. Especially when Goughy's around but that's a whole other story. :D

I love sitting as high as possible, in particular in the Southern stand. I can tell who the players are from their, without needing to look at the screen. Same at Optus oval. In the VFL Grand final, for the first 3 quarters, I went to sit at the highest stand at the ground, before standing behind the goals in the last quarter.

I had forgotten that this was the Cricket board. I still like to sit as high as possible. That way, you don't get sunburnt:mad:

I certainly wouldn't want to be one of those cardboards in the members stand who don't join in the wave, but at the same time holding up the game is a problem.
I was at the soccer last night and didn't see any of the cricket on the telly. But what really happened with the crowd in Melbourne last night, was it as bad as the media are making it out to be?

Hey I'm one of those MCC ****! At the cricket it is the only place where I would feel safe after watching what those dipsticks in the outer get up to.

I dont really care where I sit as I can see pretty much from any position around the ground. The top level does make you feel you're looking over the ground but it's nice to be close to the action sitting on ground level.

Mind you, I wouldn't want to sit anywhere near the yobbo's and d*ckheads as I dont particually want beer and other sh*t thrown on me!! They are good for a laugh though. Their stupidity and silliness is often comical and one wonders exactly how much of a cricket game they actually do watch!!

I do like the middle levels though... away from all the trouble of the the people from bay 13 but still close enough to get all the atmosphere.

Why sit with a bunch of old fogies, mostly on their death bed who think there hasn't been a decent player since Neil Harvey and who think they're better than everyone else because they're in fancy suits eating scones and drinking coffee????

If you'd ever been in the MCC you'd know that what you've posted is completly inaccurate. I'm an MCC member and i'm 20 and have been a member since i was 15. Most people in there are under 50. People don't go there to eat scone and drink coffee, although it does happen, most people go there because they can go to the bar where they can get reasonably priced, real beer.

However, i believe what you go to the cricket for dictates where you sit. If you go there to watch the cricket then you sit in an area other than Bay13 and its surrounds. If you to get drunk and stuff around with your mates and have the cricket to distract you then sit in Bay13.
