Leppa - Dropped or Injured?

Just wondering is Leppa is injured (maybe having trouble with his back) or dropped for poor form.

His form has not been great since the start of the season. However, to his defense I think his back injury was more serious than he or the club let on.

If he is having trouble with his back are we about to see a great career cut short?

The Lions medicos would not have risked playing him at all if his back hadn't been up to it.

With that in mind, I have to agree with TFB's comments above.

Dropped: poor form, and with mark williams and NO croad, couldnt play 3 defensive talls + Roe,
structure.

Interesting article here (http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0,8659,19111190-23211,00.html) where Matthews talks about Leppitsch's recovery from his back injury, in that his calf muscle was inactive for 3 or 4 months (atrophy), and he has been unable to get the muscle mass back which is why he isn't fully fit.
