Of course they would, they are idiots. About the only thing we did well was sing the song, everything else was half hearted, not commited, nor here nor there.
The only reason why they are so happy is because the new rivalry between st.kilda and geelong, they played the rivalry, not the game.

i wouldnt mind my team struggling like your team tonight

I want a flag, anything else is a failure. If we play like this every week we will be lucky to make the 8.
I don't want half hearted efforts becoming the norm.

Geez, you'd think after a 42 year premiership drought a win would be a win - obviously not!

a win is not a win.
A win is winning the grand final, everything else is a loss.

Well, we won after four losses on the trot. I'm happy with that, but it's imperative we back it up next week.

YOTC.
Bit harsh on Paul Chapman, and especially Steve Johnson and James Kelly who are renowned for relying only on their silky skills but who worked pretty hard tonight.
But on the whole, the only clear cut winner on the night was Mark Thompson. Tore Cornflakes a new one.

There are always exceptions, like Ablett in the 4 losses. Chapman always gives 100%, Riccardi too, our young boys should follow in their lead.

And I waited up until it was shown on Foxtel in NSW! Woeful skills and an awful game. I don't think any of the coaches in the stands watching the game would have been too worried tonight.
Can somewone tell me why Reiwoldt is regarded as a star again? Isn't taking the mark only the first half of the job?

Last Friday wasn't a half-hearted effort...
