So Lenny Hayes will be more of a leader with a "C" next to his name?
People were screaming (not unlike you _Ron_) for Lenny Hayes to hand over his captaincy to Aaron Hamill during his year as Captain.
Lenny's year started out easy (Preseason premiership, first 10 H&A matches) then it got tough. Those tough times are what brought out the true leader in Lenny. Despite two anhilations by Brisbane, we were able to bounce back and whoop Sydney and just missed out on a GF berth.

lol i wasn't sure if you were a saints supporter but i figured you were just like me and telling everyone how YOU saw it.
However with your efforts tonight on the main board and especially that reply, you've just indicated to everyone that you don't follow the saints and you're 100% trolling.
Noone who follows AFL would say that about Hayes, not even opposition supporters.
Still, i'm not phased if you continue to post, free country.

Luke Ball is one of the toughest (yet one of the fairest) players in the comp and as an opposition supporter, it's almost impossible to hate him. He'd bleed for you guys. You'd have to break every bone in his body before he'd shed a tear like Riewoldt (not having a crack at Nick here, just saying he's not as tough as Ball). I know how much you blokes hate Geelong, but in the last couple we've won (rd 7 2005 and 2004 skilled stadium??) just have a look and see what saint player was still flying the flag when his side was going down- Luke Ball. Much respect for that man.
I'd love to see _Ron_, or anyone else in the St Kilda side try and play footy when their groin is being held together by tape. I've no doubt Lenny and Dal would be sitting on the sidelines. Ball = GUN = more heart than half the league put together. Wish he was Geelong's captain
