Richo's been the most dangerous player on the ground. Newman's done well on Nick Davis, Tambling's looked ok. Coughlan's had a fair amount of the ball, but he's turned it over plenty.

Swans really finishing it off. 98 up.

Two 100 point losses for Richmond isn't good.

Think Capper was at his peak round then too.

Sydney were an awesome high-scoring team round that time.

That was the absolute peak in 1987. Hafey trained us into the ground before the finals, we went out in straight sets that year. :o

Is that the most uncontested marks ever taken by a side. Swans must have taken at least 70 marks all alone!

All I can say is WOW. What an amazing score, 100 is a high score for the Swans.

That win was worth 17.8% for the Swans.

When I saw them beat Geelong I thought Sydney were back. They would have smashed anyone today. Good luck to the Dogs next week playing "home" to the Swans!

Swans gained 20% points to go from 100% to 120% and move up from 9th on the ladder before todays game to 4th

Full strength team, playing away from home, and a 118 point victory. They're back !

They lost 5 of 6 after that: L68, L45, L9, W8, L99, L76, and yes, out in straight sets. Then lost 6 of the first 8 in 1988. So, 3 from 14 after those incredible three weeks!

I remember I was so annoyed with Essendon that I started barracking for Sydney to increase our pain.

Think Capper was at his peak round then too.

Sydney were an awesome high-scoring team round that time.

I remember seeing Sydney vs West Coast on Fox Footy and they were an unreal team. They kicked something like 9 goals in 11 minutes. Every centre bounce led to another swans goal.
