Hey guys,
Thought i would post a positive thread amongst all the negativity. I understand Lynchy is publishing his lion's team of the decade in the CM tomorrow so i thought i would do my own personal one to compare. Feel free to comment, critise, post your own, or all of the above. This has probably been done a few times before but it will be good to see who can get the closest to Lynchy's team. I have probably forgotten someone totally obvious. Anyways, here goes...

I don't know what that is. They only have 15 or so players there. They really should upgrade the site and get everyone that played a game on there. The site i gave you has all the players that played for Brisbane Lions 1997-2005.

Yes. I might change that to C Scott.
I just think that Adcock is going to be one of the elite midfielders in the competition, and perhaps I got a bit carried away.

if you swap jarred with champs and swap B.scott with Notting that would be my team
and the jame vs keats debate will be good to hear - the ruck might be the hardest one to pick...that and who we would have as VC if we are going to have one

I heard that players need to have played a minimum 50 games for the merged club to qualify for the Team of the Decade. Does that rule a couple of yours out (Boyd, Lamby, Maxy)?

i think you're right - he will reach those heights IMO but he needs another couple of seasons under the belt ;)
i also agree that charman will become our best-ever ruckman so I whacked him in ahead of Beau and M Clarke but crackers (at this stage) is still our ruckman of the decade IMO

agreed. while he didnt play many in a row, i reckon he was still not tog et 2 Norm-smiths led alone one.
Was great for us especially the year beau went down early (2002 i think).
Great player for the club over the last 5-7 years.
