Come on Dons,
tomorrow should be a win without a doubt!
Considering now that Brisbane are 2/5 we've got to do the same..!!
I think this rnd over Carlton should be a win..
if they cant beat Carlton then something is wrong,but I cant see them losing.
Next week would be hard,
but if the guys win this week,they might just get enough confidence..hmm

Essendon were 16th in R4 2005 as well as R1 and R2 2004.
I don't think it's remotely possible we could lose to Carlton.

yeah and we shoukdnt have lost to them in 99 prelim but we did.

Only 3 goals down. At least we'll be on top of the ladder for honourable losses.

Well, in all my footy tipping comps, I have tipped against the bombers since our loss to the Bulldogs, for the sake of money and actually having something to look forward to, Ill be sticking to that formula.
By the way, 5 wins or less is a very REAL possibility now.

You can't lose to Carlton - too much skill from some of your guys, and there ought to be plenty of heart from your club.

Ouch...if Lovett kicked that goal I reckon we would have had a chance to roll the Blues and they would have panicked.
But fair enough, Carlton are clearly the better side than us this year. At least the draft offers us some comfort.
