Nothing to say. We were belted by the bottom team, enough said.

What happened to Luke Hodge? Didn't see the game, but looking at the stats, they're very uncharacteristic of him. Did he have a niggle or did the guy who was playing on him do a good job?

I didnt get a chance to watch or listen to the game, but i might watch it over the internet later on...

very disappointed with the Hawks effort, but its hard to pinpoint what went wrong without seeing the game...

Hodge is allegedly carrying an ankle injury, but slewood did a great job of blanketing him. take nothing away from selwood.

I'm very concerned that the past two weeks have been shades of 2004/2005 revisted. We need to lift again very smartly or this season will be wasted.

This was always going to be the case AH.
We should be happy with 4 wins from 7 games. Hell, we should probably still be happy if we are 5 from 10.
Perhaps i'm the only one, but i wasn't expecting our early season run to continue without a bit of a stumble.

I understand where you're coming from Galon, and I am pleased with 4-3, although 5-2 or 6-1 would have been better reward for our efforts so far. We have been through the "easy" part of the year and about to run into teams like Sydney, West Coast, Adelaide, etc.

I can always handle a loss, but it is the WAY we lost to Kangaroos and Brisbane that concerns me. Our skill level is unacceptable and a lot of work needs to be done in this area.

At least your still in the 8...

I was shocked to see that Hodgy only had 7 disposals for the entire game...

I think our unbelievable start to the season raised too many supporters expectations. You still cannot be dissappointed if we don't make the eight, our current team lacks experience. Against Brisbane it was always going to be a big ask (even considering their form), with our exclusions for the game we had no one to stop J Brown, and our forward line isn't that potent. Against Kangaroos, we had the position to put them away, but failed to go on with and let them into the game and eventually win.
For the future our best team is going to include the likes of franklin, ellis, dowler, muston (who haven't played this year, and some won't). Slow down the expectations supporters, a healthy season this year would be 8wins, anymore will be a bonus

Juddy, I won't boo you like the Dorkers did.....I agree no one in today's game can expect to win every game especially a team of young fella's finding their feet. I had hoped to win 8 games this year and I still do any more would be a big bonus for confidance.
