View Full Version : Port comeback?

It's not impossible - they closed the gap late in the 2nd quarter, and I think they'll come out firing.

In the 2003 PF the Swans blew them away in the first half before Port came back and nearly stole the match - it was only a two goal difference at the end.

It could happen.

Port will win easily, they should use this game to improve their percentage.

Not going to indulge in even a little doomed optimism?:p

They fired up, yeah, but only with 5 minutes left in the half. After a half an hour break and a 'non-adrenaline charged' summary of the scoreline they'll lose the small amount of drive they just had.

Take the Derby sarcasm shyte elsewhere.

Seriously, if the Bulldogs don't win this game from where they were, then they should board up the club and go do something else. They wouldn't recover from a loss like that. I still think the Dogs will win.

What's the record for the biggest comeback? Was it that Essendon/Kangaroos game a few years back? I wouldn't be at all surprised if Port break the record today.

Essendon i think, that was about 69 pts vs the Roos

What was it today? 79-10? That'd be 69 points too.

It seems someone logged in under my name and made the ludicrous suggestion that the Power would make a comeback.:o

The real Matching Mole would, of course, never say such a thing.
