Was Hodge's bump on Harding legal?

I think it was OK, but under the new rules he should be pegged for 1 week.

Clash of heads caused the problem though...

If he gets rubbed out for that then the AFL is becoming an absolute joke.

It was nothing but a free kick for being late. Everything else was legal. Fair Bump..

Forgot to add- the bump was fine.

i was more worried about hodges tackle on mcgrath.
it wasnt like hammills, he lifted him up and thumped him into the turf well after the tackle was complete.
What looked like a broken wrist results...
unnecessary.

The Bump was fine i thought, same as Daniel G's for the Wdoggies.

I should point out that I posted this poll in response to this (http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=265347) article.

Hodge is a dog. What about his Rugby style tackle on McGrath, it was like something out of World Championship Wrestling!

Not entirely sure that this comment is warranted!! Hodgey is as fair as the day is long, admittedly he is quite physical but it is AFL isn't it?? You might want to look in your own backyard before you tarnish others...:thumbsd:

Alright. Settle down. You'll find that most Lions supporters agree that Hodge didn't do anything wrong. Don't take one person's opinion to heart.

No i am quite settled about it, i haven't taken it to heart at all just responding to an unfair attack on Hodge that's all. I do understand that most Lions supporters have the sense and football knowledge to know what Hodge did was legitimate.:thumbsu:

Fair bump but Charmo or Browny should've got a 'fair' bump back! ;)
