Yeh...but I'm doing a fantasy thing with trade week this week and delisting players etc for mid-season draft.

Cassisi was doing decently well too! If 2-4 weeks is prob worth keeping.

Thanks guys, good luck for the season - we need some too!

Looked pretty nasty on the telly. Hard to tell with knees - could be longer than 2-4 weeks I reckon.

They're saying it's a medial and up to 4 weeks (which means somewhere between 1 and 8)

Now the real question needs to be who will take his place?

Will it be the predictable Shattock? Or will Mark promote Thomas whos been in great form?

Now is the time to start blooding these youngsters who would normally be given their mandatory 1-2 years of SANFL before debuting.

I'd love to see Symes, Lower and Thomas get opportunities in defence. Walsh and Cassisi might be out for a while. Motlop must be given the flick.
Replace the three of them with these three youngsters.

Other teams don't hesitate about playing first yearers, and our best young prospect atm is a guy who shone in his debut year and continues to improve (Pearce).
Get the youngsters in there and start preparing the backline of 2008.

Ten minutes into the second quarter, Cassisi had dropped his head and his bundle.

?

You say that the Shattock option would be predictable as if you think it wouldn't be for the best. Rethink that.
