Well where to now?

My only changes would be:

Out: Hird, Soloman
In: Fletcher, McVeigh

Maybe throw some more kids in. Wouldn't drop Dempsey, give him some time. Depressing season...

Agree with those two.

I'd also do Slattery for Pev. Wouldn't be suprised to see Slatts given a job in the middle.

Kepler for Lee. Kep is struggling, give him a run at Bendigo to find some confidence. Lets have a look at Lee.

I'd also be tempted to drop MJ for Nash, but 5 changes might not be the way to go. Also wouldn't be suprised if Johns plays.

I'm just so disillusioned at the moment that I don't know what changes should be made.
For the first time in a long time, I'll be going into a match knowing we can't win and it doesn't feel right.

In: Fletcher McVeigh Lee Slattery Nash
Out: Hird Bradley JJ Dempsey Peverill

A lot but Bradley and JJ have no form to speak of, Peverill is going nowhere and i fear for Dempsey's safety he looks so light.

JJ had 31 last week and still have 5 clearances this week. I'm worried that if he does get dropped, even what he does do (as little as it is) is too much to lose. Especially with Hird already out.

Dempsey won't get hurt if they can't catch him.

I want Nash in this week, the more blokes we have in the side who can use the footy the better. Watching Pev butcher pass after pass yesterday along with a few of his bomber cohorts was hard to watch.

Mind you, Pev did have an excuse for his poor disposal.
He was constantly kicking under pressure. But I guess that's what happens when you fumble the ball 5 times in space.

Yeah, why play football if you can't even kick to a teammate

IN: Rioli, Fletcher, McVeigh, Lee, Johns (why %^&!ing not, forward structure is woefull atm)

OUT: Solomon, Welsh, Hird, Peverill, Bolton (although he did play well)

Agreed but will the match commitee decide to give Nash a game? His VFL form has been pretty good!

To be fair he hit more targets than any other carlton player.:(

In: Fletch, McVeigh, Lee, Slattery

Out: Hird, Peverill, Solomon, Bolton

Average age 22.8 This would be as young as I would go, you cant get rid of all the senior players!

I'm not sure of the exact nature of his injury but getting him to play through it doesn't seem to be working at all. Give him a couple of weeks to get into better shape and he might be a chance to have a strong second half of the season.

Yeah, why not give Courtney Johns a go. At least he would give some sort of presence to our goalsquare.
OUT: Solomon, Hird, Peverill Welsh
IN: Johns, Nash, McVeigh Fletcher

I dont think slattery can play because the BEndigo Bombers had the bye last week and he still has his suspension to serve this week. I think that Dempsey is worth persevering with and Reynolds ought to be given one more game, although preferably on th H/B flank and not full back

Slattery is an Essendon listed player. He served his suspension on the weekend.

out: hird, reynolds, solomon and either peverill or welsh (both if there is fit and suitable replacements
in: fletcher, mcveigh, slattery, either johns or rioli (if fit, can only afford to play 1 of them) and give nash a game

i feel sorry for reynolds as it was not his fault last week but needs to find confidence in the two's. solomon needs a rest dont even play him at bendigo just rest him for a few weeks and see how he feels. welsh for his poor form.

i think the johnsons are getting better especially jason. bradley has to stay in the side as there is a match up for him with hansen. bradleys problem over the last few weeks is he has not had a ideal match up down back and he looks lost up forward.

I don't care what anyone says, I reckon we can knock off West Coast. I've got a feeling in my bones.

I agree - we could be leading at quarter time. We would then proceed to lose the next three quarters as is our routine.

I think its about time for our assistant coach Dean Wallis to take matters into his own hands. Sneak into the West Coast change rooms before the game and 'knock off' a few players, namely Judd, Cousins, Cox and Kerr. With the 'mysterious dissapearance' of these players we may, just maybe, be a chance...

here is one from left field.
why not play jay neagle? i know that he hasn't done that much in the 2's but did come to us as a full forward who kicked 70ish goals in the tac cup last year, what have we got to lose??????
