View Full Version : Israel are the cause of most of the world's problems
Without trying to sound racist or anti-semetic, ever since the state of Israel was given back to it's original (not rightful) owners, due to guilt on behalf of America and other nations, the conflict is getting worse and worse in the middle east, mainly due to the Israelites trying to now invade Lebanon and other surrounding countries. Hence the suicide Bombers and Terroists from the Palesteinians, who have done nothing wrong but being kicked out of their home in the first place. It is not the divine right for the Jews to think just because they were slaughtered by the Nazi's (and let's be honest they didn't put up much of a fight did they) they can now try and bully the Arabs into giving up their homes on the West Bank and stuff. I support the suicide Bombers as they are making a stand, not so much to kill innocent people (which i don't support) but to try and make a stand to the facist government of Israel to stop murdering innocent Muslim Men Women and Children.

Do you seriously think its as black and white as that?
Do you think that all the problems in that region of the world will disappear with the creation of a Palestinian state?
The middle east is a region which contains strains of Christianity, Judaism and Islam and even within these religions there is a lack of coherence as there are orthodox and others, and Sunni/Shi'ite Muslims as well (eg Iran vs Iraq)
The problems in this region are compounded by disparities in wealth. A lot of the fighting is occurring as a result of the drain on resources in the region, Israel with much and the Palestinians with next to nothing.
Bear in mind that imperialism and colonialism has also played its part in facing the various inhabitants of the middle east off against each other. The problems of the Middle East are far deeper rooted than anyone could ever imagine and I dont see the conflict subsiding any time soon.
Loz you have shown your complete lack of understanding of the situation. I would appreciate it if you did not comment on this any more. While you claim not to be anti-semitic your comment "they didn't put up much of a fight" is ridiculous and shallow and, lets face it, offensive.
Sentences like "I'm not racist, but... " are almost always a prelude to some sort of racist or offensive statement. That is the case here.
