Thomas last night confirmed that the much-touted Michael Rix, a 25-year-old strong-bodied ruckman who was drafted last year, was a chance to be picked for his first game. Rix has been performing well at VFL level with the Casey Scorpions.
"If they're playing well at Casey, of course they're a chance. He's playing OK, so he's got to be a chance … he's in consideration."
