What a great game!

Winderlich when given some time on the field shows he might be able to do something. Pity he doesnt get many oppurtunities to do this oin the seniors.

Should never have been dropped ahead of Welsh, Solomon and Peverill.!

Bendigo had a big finish to record their first win.

Was awesome. At least he should be a certainty to come in next week.

Not his biggest fan, but deserves a spot ahead of Sol, Welsh and Pev at the moment.

NOW COME ON. I won't hear it! That's just silly talk.

Remember, Sheedy knows what he's doing.

Apparently.

I was at Windy Hill today. He was determinded to play well and did. His disposal occasionaly let himself down but despite that was still very good. Definitly should not have been dropped.

It's a bit like this time tomorrow.

Solomon, 108 minutes played, 7 possessions, 3 free kicks against, 2 clangers.

Definitely should not have been picked. Yet he was. And continues to get picked.

WE'RE BUILDING TOWARDS SOMETHING REALLY BIG!

i watched the 2nd half n the yound blokes did awsome. Did Cole play?? he was selected to play but didnt see any of him. Lee should come in next week. Hes a big man and runs very well. Dempsey also should be brought back in, his run from half back and on the wing was good and his chasing and pressure applies would be great to have. Imagine an oppisition player running through the Centre and Dempsey and Lovett come out of nowhere n chase him down. Things like that pump the side up and lift the intensity. Winders will come in nxt week and should play on the wing and be given heaps of space to work with.

Hurt his ankle early in the game. Hobbled off, was seen leaving the ground on crutches.

Winderlich was running hard all day which is a great sign of his improved endurance. Nash, Dempsey, Lee all showed great signs also. All should be in the senior side sooner rather than later although Dempsey shouldn't be rushed.

Good to the see the youngsters dominating when they're being taken back to Bendigo. Let's hope he follows Dyson's lead and backs it up with a good performance in the seniors next week. Obviously the coaching staff arent satisfied with Winder doing one or two good things a game, he has to take the next step.

Thought all of our Essendon listed players played well but other than Rosa and Blumfield the Bendigo list is crap, probably were they've been losing the games.

Nash, Winderlich and Lee all pushed there case for selection next week.

Dempsey will be something special :thumbsu: :)

Have had reservations on him since day one, but if he's capable of a game like that, then all for it. Maybe he just needs a full game...it took him awhile to get into this one.

My biggest criticism has been that he doesn't get it enough in the 1s, although for the most part he uses it well when he has it.

I hope this gives him the confidence to get the ball more.

Jordy goes all right at VFL level as well. Is better than both Rosa and Blumfield;)
The reason that the Bendigo VFL players dont look as good as the other clubs is they are not paying the full salary cap as Bendigo as a club isnt in a position to do it without hurting the club financially.

Big improvement from everyone concerned this week. Was a very good win in the end considering our bench was down to one just before half time. No rotations available so the boys simply had to run it out. All the boys played close to their best games so far this season.
