Bloody hope so...
Was an ugly first half... thank God the 2nd provided some entertainment. Glad to walk away with a win.

I have a lot of respect for Laidley. He does manage to get the best from a young relatively inexperienced team. Roo's do seem to be struggling and lets face it, their skill errors were appauling today and dragged us down to their level to a certain extent.
B4 you Roos supporters get up me for those comments here me out. You have a relatively "new" team and it will take a few years and I honestly think Laidley is the man to take you there so hang in there.
On a more serious note, I did think that given the fact that we should be finals material we really struggled today. Promising signs were we planted the foot when needed to after half time and posted the "required" 4 points.
There are 2 more easy games going up so lets hope the boys are a WEE bit more enthusiastic for those!!!

Archer 280 > Parker 213
Hay 155 >Grover 100
Brown 136 > Schammer 60
and Watt 93 > Thornton 40
Yes, Perry 6, Pratt 26 and Gibson 5 are young, but so are Johno 18, Mundy 24 and Duff 3.
In the middle you have Simpson, Harvey and Grant all over 200 games. You have Sinclair, Rawlings, Harris, Green and Jones between 60 and 150. Up front you have Thomson at 150, Petrie, Wells and Harding all > 70.
Even David Hale is almost at 50 games. They had 4 players with 20 games or less experience (Gibson, McIntosh, Swallow and Perry). So did we - Peake, Johnson, Duff and Murphy.
