This week its tough for all the wrong reasons :(

Player of the year

5. Andrew McLeod - Clearly BOG today. He was just about the only player who dared to play on and do something other than chipping it around. He tried to lead but others didn't follow.

4. Tyson Edwards - Our only midfielder than won his position today. Just your usual Edwards game.

3. Michael Doughty - He is continuing his good form. Got the ball well he generally used it well especially under pressure. Most of his team-mates didn't.

2. Ben Rutten - I thought he played a great game on Richo. He didn't give him a sniff today. Sure Richo got a couple of shots on goal (from VERY acute angles) and took some marks but they were further up the ground where the damage was minimal. He loves playing on big strong forward.

1. Graham Johncock - At least he tried to create something from back half. Not a great game by his standards but he was servicable.

Best Team Man

3. Ben Rutten - See above

2. Tyson Edwards - See above

1. Andrew McLeod - See above

These will do me fine - I'm too depressed to do anything else.

I do genuinely agree with them though. :thumbsu:

Disappointing there were no rookies out there today.:( :( :(

We need a balance between hard edged experience and the natural exuberance of youth.

POTY.......those who sucked least....:(

5 - Tyson Edwards - continued AA form

4 - Andrew McLeod - plenty of rebound off the backline......got caught a few times which really underlines where he is at in his career

3 - Scott Thompson - unlucky to give away that down ground free I thought

2 - Graham Johncock

1 - Ben Rutten - turned Richo into a Tredrea clone...:D

BTM

3 - Edwards
2 - Rutten
1 - Massie

ROTY

pass - VB - 43 minutes...WTF is with that?...:thumbsd:

I dont think Mcleod was Adelaides best. I admired the way he tried to change the game, and run the lines, carry the ball etc etc. But I can't think of too many times where this was really effective. Id say Edwards was Adelaides best.

1: Reilly, thought he at least managed to intercept the ball a bit and disrupt Richmonds style of play in the first half.
