Oh, damn... West Coast play Essenbum.
Sometimes I believe I'm the only one on the planet indifferent to Collingwood.
Good start, yes, but I still can't help feeling they'll drop 5 in a row at some stage.
There's certainly no value at $8.50 (even less now).

Well, it seems Collingwood were in a similar situation to Essendon last year when we played the Eagles with half our team out and we beat them... so, if your mob can do the same... ;):p
Though I seriously doubt it. But good luck anyway. :thumbsu::)

Not too long, don't worry. Collingwood's next four games:
Collingwood vs. Western Bulldogs @ Telstra Dome
Collingwood vs. Brisbane @ MCG
Melbourne vs. Collingwood @ MCG
Sydney vs. Collingwood @ Telstra Stadium
The Brisbane and Melbourne games are a bit iffy, but they should lose the Bulldogs and Swans games, so not long.

Until they play another interstate game or against someone half decent.

Since when are Bulldogs penciled in against Collingwood? Actually, since when are the Bulldogs that good a team? They are decent, not great, but decent.

Since when do they need to be a great team?
btw Round 1 bring back memories? Bulldogs are a really good team.
The Bulldogs game is the most winnable game out of the four, imo.

I agree, TTT.
We can slaughter the Bulldogs. But, I have a feeling it will be a nailbiter.

Brisbane match up on us well. The Bulldogs can't match up on us.

We play well against Sydney, particularly at Telstra Stadium.

Just the news I want right now. Tonight my boyfriend informs me that his ex is pregnant. To him. And then I get home to find that not only have Collingwood won, but they're back on top of the ladder.
It's OK. My world will be back to normal once my boys beat Essendon tomorrow. :thumbsu:

its been a strange round, Richmond winning, Collingwood just scraping over the line, the Dons might just get those jackets out for a bit of a wave. The Dons apart from last week havent been that bad. Well, except for all the weeks they been shocking, that is!

If they play like they did last night thats four wins. Last night was the best they've played (skillfully) in a very long time.

Bulldogs and Sydney both experienced that feeling last week with their absolute thrashings of their respective opponents. Notice how much closer the games seem to be when good teams play against good teams?
We are a great shot to win all 4...
Dogs...2 weeks of travel, no ruckman like Cox to help them win clearances. They will have to play Grant on the backline, so that leaves Johnson, Robbins and Murphy up front. We have Heath Shaw, James Clement and Lockyer to cover these guys. Pies by 30
Brisbane....We owe them big time....We will be up for this game. Stop Brown and you stop Brissy this year. They are just a side and we will get another percentage booster. Pies by 55
Melbourne...The battle of the 2 top Victorian sides....Could go either way....Pies in a close one
Swans.....Played last year when the Swans were on a streak and the Pies were close to the bottom. Result Swans lucky to win by a point....We match up very well with the Swans...and when both teams are at full strenght I would rate the Pies as Certainties. Pies by 24
So at the end of r12

Just in case you havent been watching and i am sure you havent as the media down here does its best to ignore non vic teams BUT we are playing a lot better than we did in our premiership year. We are playing attacking footy with a hard pressure style game. We currently have the best CHF (doesnt really play at full forward) going around and who is also leading the coleman medal. We are a fierce tackling side as well.
But hey keep ignoring the premiers and don't be suprised if we beat you into submission. Don't be suprised at all. You can blame the blanket coverage given to the pies down here.
