Essendon major sponsor 3 Mobile are releasing an alternate version of their '3 is the Magic Number' TV ad campaign in yet another first for Bummerland coach, Kevin Sheedy.
In celebration of Sheedy steering his team to a seven straight defeat, 3 Mobile have decided to re-record their jingle each week, as the length of losses continue.
Sheedy, when asked for his thoughts said, "Look we're travelling fine. We're doing alot better than most clubs and we even had a sausage sizzle for the kids today. They dont care about wins or losses, as long as I tell them we are doing ok and are better than some teams".
When shown the Ladder and that his team was sitting dead last with only a solitary win Sheedy snarled, "Look, all those other teams are playing Basketball Crap! As far as Im concerned we're really on top of the ladder as we're the only ones actually playing football".
When confronted with the fact you dont play finals from 16th Sheedy said, "We'll be playing finals alright. Our Fans expect nothing less. While the top 8 basketball clubs are playing in September, we'll organise a few games down at Wimpy Hill for teh fans. We'll have a handball final, a kick for goal final and we'll even have a Grand Final sprint of our own".
