Essendon deserve at least some credit for staying close to WC yesterday. Collingwood supporters were all too keen to pat themselves on the back for just "getting close" to the Eagles, so the Dons fans should be similarly contented, especially with some of the outs they had.

You guys won't finish last but I think the fact that many in the media and many on here thought you would be finalists and say top 6 is quite amusing to a lot of us.
