View Full Version : Craig and the Crows disrespected by opposition coaches
We probably deserve it after that last performance.
But just thought you might like to know, Terry Wallace says he was fishing Crows (http://heraldsun.news.com.au/footy/common/story_page/0,8033,%255E25877,00.html) while Roos slams the Crows (http://theadvertiser.news.com.au/footy/story_page/0,8747,19225303%255E21544,00.html) for not manning up.
What we did on Saturday was much more like fishing.
We threw out a lure for Adelaide to stop flooding numbers behind the ball.
If I was in the crowd I would be booing Adelaide - not Richmond - because the only way you can actually chip the ball around is if you've got a free player.

The only way to earn respect is to win.
So Craig gets criticised for not playing into Wallace's hands.

No he was criticised ultimately becuase he didnt get you the four points.
So Craig gets criticised for not playing into Wallace's hands.
Craig's getting criticised because Roos and Sheedy are sick and tired of not being able to turn on the TV or radio or pick up the paper without seeing or hearing Wallace parading around proclaiming his infinite genius. Someone has to be the scapegoat. ;)

I think the title of this post is a little over inflammatory.
Wallace and Sheedy are playing one upmanship since Wallace "killed" off Sheeds record.
I agree with Roos!! They cannot chip it around if we had manned up.
The other factors like Ben Harts arm, McGregor cant kick over a jam tin so lets leave him there for the experience smacks of the NAB GF plus we missed targets....its not that hard.
When the missus said "Quick the tapes rewinding" (toward the middle of the second quarter) I didnt bother about slipping in another tape to continue recording what was the most boring of spectacles, because I could tell our headswerent in the game; we'd been reading and wallowing in out on press.
We lost we were pitiful but the sun still came up Sunday.
The concerning thing about this whole debacle is Ive not a lot of confidence in Plan B;) coz Craigy is yet to roll the sucker out!!

Wallace is good at countering the good teams tactics in one off games, as he did with us on Saturday, and did against the unbeatable Essendon back in 2000. His down side is he hasnt been able to get his team to win when its really important. The win over Essendon in 2000 lead to what? Essendon winning the flag! and the Bulldogs finishing 7th. and making an immediate exit in the finals. Hopefully he's opened our eyes to the inadequacies of our game and we follow the Essendon 2000 example.

Mate - i would have thought these were fairly isolated comments. In gerneal Craigs seems very respected by other coaches from stuff ive read. He got voted coach of the year last year by his peers also :thumbsu:
