Lets hope that at least BGS can score a goal this year. Did not score a major on their home ground against MGS 2 years ago. As MGS easily beat Geelong and BGS were flogged by GC it would be a huge upset if Brighton won.

College only lost by 2 goals, thats not easily beaten buddy, especially away and with only one left on the bench college were in it right up until the last 5 minutes. But Brighton look very weak, mgs by 10 goals

MGS should win easily.
However the interesting battle in this match will be Hawkins vs Dawes which will arguably be the best one on one battle of the season. Both are a chance to play Vic Metro this year with Hawkins seeking a clearance from NSW which if he gets you would expect him to play and Dawes in the initial squad of 50 on the back of two BOG for Sandy Dragons from 3 games(was also in the best in his other game).
Both are strong aggressive leaders of their teams, with Dawes in particular having been sent off on several occassions.
It will be interesting to see if Dawes is told to follow Hawkins wherever he goes, if he does MGS should play Hawkins forward and take Dawes out of the centre of the ground. I suspect BGS will probably flood again and hope to win the ball out of the centre with Dawes rucking to tregear and calder at his feet. This would be their best bet.

Brighton are no good
very easy game for Melbourne
If BGS get within 10 goals of MGS they will say they played well

In the seconds, Melb won by about 5 goals (despite having about 4 out)

haha bluesboys u know heaps about footy,, not,, brighton beat mgs by a goal they were just way better on the day and it shows that they could beat nearly any team on their day.
