View Full Version : Dunn
how is this kid going?...anyone been watching him?
same goes for marcus Drum...anyone watching Perth games?
Is the Dunn kid good enough?
He (Ryley) has got though two reserves games . the l;ast one being named in the best.
I would expect he would line up for the sharks on the W/E.
Drum has been solid for Perth without starring.
wonder if they will get a game this season...
What has been wrong with Dunn? Injury? or no form? why was he in the 2's?

Coming back from Knee in the intraclub and then a hammy IIRC.
Needs to get some match fitness so if all goes well he will be ready if needed or form warrants for the last 1/3 of the season. *crosses fingers*
I am not willing to write off a dual under 18 AA just yet, especially when you look at the less highly rated blokes who have spent two or three years in the system or on the rookie list .
e.g. Dodd, Crowls & Duffman.

Lets hope they persist with Dunn for the long term. The lad will come good in the end for sure. Marcus needs to play the season in the WAFL to mature a bit, though he may get a run towards the end of the season if we have injury probs. Hopefully it wont come to that though and he ll get 1 more off season to put on size and strength before being called on.

Are you talking about one or two guys here? Marcus Drum & Ryley Dunn. Dunn is in his 3rd year on the list (another year to go on his second contract IIRC), but has played just the 4 games, and seems to be constantly injured, or "coming back from" injury. Drummy is in his first year and will be around for at least another 3-4 minimum you'd think.

I have always rated Dunn as a player. But havn't seen huge amounts of him. Was very happy when I heard Port Adelaide were interested in him a few years back. Best of luck to the lad and best of luck to the Dockers in season 06..

Sadly there are some bodies not cut out for the AFL. Dunn falls into this category. I hope he gets fit and plays great footy for EF. That means he'll fetch more at draft time.

If we trade Ryley we will regret it.
If he can string a decent length of games together, he'll come good. Kid's got the goods, just needs to get the body right to go with it.
Patience is a virtue. He'll repay you in spades.

There is some fella the club is charging $140 a ticket for his testimonial dinner that has come back from 3 knee recos. His name escapes me at the moment.
I think its the shock of finding out it's out $120 smackeroos for a two course meal. Can't we have it at Macca's??? :p
