This is just a rumour i've heard, dunno if its true or not. But i have heard that he is looking to leave.
I was thinking about hurn?
Why not fev for hurn?
his a ready made player that wont really get a run in the West Coast team and he will be a certain start in our team.
People on this board even wanted him with pick 4
what do u guys think?

Well considering he's contracted for another 2 years would make me think that he's no going anywhere. He could have walked last year, and he didn't. He wanted to repay the faith that Denis and the club showed in him when Denis started at Carlton.
In short, Fev aint going nowhere.

Judd and a first round pick would be brilliant. Anything under that would be an insult.
Fev doesn't want to move interstate. West Coast doesn't want to give up what he's worth. Not going to happen.

I heard last year they got close to swaping Gardiner plus a 1st round pick for Fevola.I'm not sure why it fell through but I know the Eagles
wanted to move Gardi interstate because he's a bad influence on Cousins.

There may have been two offers:
Gardiner and a 1st round pick,
or
just a 2nd round pick.
For the life of me, I can't see why it fell through either ;-). Thank god our football department isn't this stupid anymore.

A bit early in the season to be making up trade rumours isn't it?
As has been mentioned already, if Fev wanted out he had his chance last year. He obviously wants to be at Carlton, you can see it in the way he's played this year.

If and this is a big if we traded Fev to West Coast we would want only one player Chris Judd and maybe just maybe if West Coast fail again this year at the last hurdle because of no Full Forward they would seriously have to consider it.:thumbsu:

:mad: Get your hand out of your pocket. You are playing with the wrong ball if you think Carlton would trade Fev to WC for anything less than Judd, Cox and a couple of draft picks.
How hot do you think that WC would be for the next 3 or 4 flags if they had Fev to aim at. He would kick over 100 goalsfor the next 4 years.

A few things:
One
If Fev wanted out he had the option not too re-sign mid last year.
Two
The blues tried too trade him, but too get him too go somewhere else was too hard for other clubs to seriously be interested. (picks, players, and cash)
Three
It is true that he probably isn't enjoying football the way some others would at winning clubs.
Four
The window of opportunity will be appearing again for the blues in 2008, in two more drafts time. He will still be what - 25 or 26. The blues need Fev, Kennedy, Whitnall, Waite etc, as the midfield (all things considered) should be much more competitive.

Although I like Hentchel, NO WAY. Why trade one of the best FF's in the game, with potential to be 100+ goalkicker for anyone? Wouldn't trade him for anyone, unless an elite midfielder / ruck under 25 (Cox, Judd).

He isallowed to carry on with abo****e garbage insult people all over the shop. If this was a supporter from another clubwho was honest enough to say what team they supoorted they would havebeen barred. If someone comes onto our board and supports another team and gives us a fair amount of stick, without being offensive, fair enough ill take it. but when they hide behind the good anme of the blues and just troll then its crap. We'd demand a top ten pick and a very good player or another first round pick or 2 from WCE for Fevola because he'd win them a flag. None of these deals are good enough for a 100 goal a year full forward which is where he is at.

I very much doubt that this will happen. If some of the "trades' suggested by people on this thread are indicitive of the way Carlton are thinking then I can't see any way that West Coast would agree to any of them ! It would be monumentaly stupid and the West Coast fans would lynch the board if any of them happened.
