you'd expect Slattery to come in for Lovett as well.

great work by the essendon selection comitee SHOWING BALLS and not tolerating repeated "crap" from our senior players

peverilll is not good enough anymore
and i'm sure after a few weeks to get his confidence up in the two's, JJ will be back and better than ever

only wish LEE, NASH or SLATTERY were also included

True! But if Lovett gets off and takes his spot in the team that bench has got a bit of pace on it!

I'd be surprised if Lovett got cleared, Slattery should come in

Good to see young Dempsey come in, hopefully he gets some good ground time

Also good to see L-Murray, Bradley, Dempsey, Johns, Stanton, Reynolds, Laycock, Watson, Winderlich, Monfries, Dyson and Slattery (probably) all playing at once, a very young side with tons of potential

Lets hope Reynolds actually plays in the forward line where he plays very well 4 bendigo. He is just getting wasted down in the backline. Suprising to see no Lee, he did a great job on Rawlings last week 4 bendigo and he also backs himself to take on a player aswell.

BIG NEWS!!!
Brogan returns
4:50:09 PM Thu 25 May, 2006
Port Adelaide Football Club (http://portadelaidefc.com.au/default...ticleid=268644)

It has been a long four weeks since Dean Brogan was forced out of the Power side with a collapsed lung and a broken rib. Port Adelaide has lost all four games without him but will be hopeful he can add to a depleted Power midfield when he returns to the side on Saturday night.

Brogan will be one of four new inclusions to the Power side that will face Essendon at the Telstra Dome where it lost to Collingwood three weeks ago.

He will be joined by young key defender Troy Chaplin, inside midfielder Adam Thomson and wingman Stuart Dew.

They will be trying to cover the losses of Chad Cornes (eye), Peter Burgoyne (hamstring) and Adam Kingsley (hamstring). Rookie ruckman Fabian Deluca makes way for Brogan.

We shuld win this one. No excuses

That bloody dew is back for them.

I was really hoping MVP (Nash) would get a game this week. Can't believe he isn't even an emergency. The outs are good though (except Lovett).

Ryder replaces suspended Lovett
Friday, 26 May 2006
Patrick Ryder will replace Andrew Lovett in the Essendon side to take on Port Adelaide this Saturday night. Ryder was recalled after Lovett's appeal against his three-match suspension was dismissed last night. Jay Nash has been added to the list of emergencies.

Nash or Slattery to replace Ryder?

Slattery won't play, Lucas missed training today for some reason?
Nash will play and Ryder won't. Unless Lucas is not right and Nash replaces him and Ryder stays in.

Only know this as i have a mate that works at windy hill.

Scotty's wife had a kid last night. Probably explains why he wasn't training.

Why do you say that Longy?

Ryder hasn't played for two weeks. Hamstring tightness last week, seems strange he'd play this week. Not a great way to prepare.

Let him give Courtney Johns the kick start he needs =).

That boy could do some great things with a bit of confidence...

We'll put Bolton on him so it evens out for both teams and it will just be 17 on 17 then.
