The players get dropped, go to the Bullants, star in winning teams, earning their place to return to the ones to....play like donkeys...More evidence that the coaching must be bad. I mean why do these guys play like champions in the magoos and can't replicate 10% of that in the seniors...Diferent grades of play, sure, but these guys are 'elite' sportsmen, they should be stepping up in the big arena, with, by all intents A BETTER COACH there as well...or is Pagan still an AFL level coach these days - I pose the question??

Because they are VFL standard players. You need to realise their is a massive difference in standard from the AFL to the VFL. Anyone can star in the VFL but it's the players that can star in the AFL that matter.

Exactly. We have too many players on our list atm that play well at VFL level, but struggle to come up at AFL level. Will certainly be interesting to see who gets the chop at the end of the year.

The Bullants are on Top of The Vfl Ladder with just the One Loss
always followed them since they were Preston
hope they win it this year , maby Barry Mitchell can coach the Blues aswell as the Bullants ;) at the one ground :)

maybe the boys should coach themselves. They can't do any worse.

We have to many good VFL players, but to many poo AFL players.

I rate Carazzo highly and 50 odd touches shows that he clearly isn't VFL level, should be put straight back into the ones and into the centre.

Agreed.

I am not calling for Pagan to get sacked, not until the end of 2007 anyway. But doesn't it worry people that Carrots has been struggling in Pagan's team but can get 50 touches in the VFL. This alone tells me something is wrong with Pagan and his game plan.

Or maybe it was the kick up the a##e that he needed, and when he comes back into the senior side he will try harder, maybe we should drop a few more of the senior players if thats the response we are going to get.
