you've gotta be joking. Being from WA I can tell you the Shockers coach will never get another gig after his current contract, Sheedy's too old and senility seems to a big part of his future, Mark Williams is ex-Collingwood scum who can stay in Adelaide and rot...like the Shockers coach he'd be hard pressed to get another contract. Laidley is way too working class for the Blues. Having said all that I don't know the answer but TD may yet one day coach the big time!

they should get the coach of the calder cannons - Robert Hyde. Used to play for Collingwood, now coaches one of the dominating under 18 sides. I think they won 3 premierships in 4yrs or something like that. Even supporters of the other sides know he is a great coach. I think i read he is not coaching the cannons next year. Or ratten would be good. They have to do something though.

Exactly. Any of those would be step backwards. We want is a young coach who is attuned to the modern football trends and can communicate with the players.
Harvey and O'Donnell are two that spring to mind having done their apprenticeship or even a club great like Ratten would be an enticing option.

When I first read this, I honestly thought this was a joke referring to all the people, who want Pagan sacked by throwing up some rubbish replacements. I hope this guy comes back and posts that it was sarcasm, for his sake......

I reckon we make a statement and sack Pagan and let the leadership group coach the boys... And then employ a coach when somebody decent becomes available! The guys couldn't possibly do a worse job!

Barry Mitchell, has the Bullants really playing for him. He's he a great rapore with the players, seems he can coach, is cheap and I think he could do the job well...........or else maybe Brett Ratten.

so all afl teams have large groups of leaders and coaches and carlton should leave it to a couple of guys nobody else wanted... grow up please!!!!! whats the statement, is it that you don't want the club to survive?
