That's impressive, unless we're talking Joel Bowden stats. Where do you get that kind of detailed stat info for VFL games?

Amazing what a rev up can do for a player. Who else can we drop.

That will do wonders for his confidence. He had hardly seen the ball in the last month, so a spell in the VFL was a good option. Should go straight back into the seniors next week.

That is great news. I have a lot of time for that kid. It is also good to see JR in the best. Kids should be played when they are knocking the door down, not just because they are young. Hopefully we will see a few ins this week!

I watched the game as it was on TV down here in Tassie. Flicking back and forth between the Carlton game.

A lot of 'Scotland' stats, but he still played a good game for sure.

The game was a good standard of play, after Mitchell moved away from his 'uber flood' he had going on in the first half.

Jake Edwards played off a forward flank from what I saw. Jackson got some good touches. Saddington didn't play well.

JR was really good today.

Having not watched it all, that's about all I can add.

i think flint will be elevated at the end of the year. he looks to be an excellent player.

i think flint will be elevated at the end of the year. he looks to be an excellent player.

i think we may need to keep him on the rookie list for one more year, although i would love to see him elevated. with smith and batson requiring elevation, i think we may see both elevated, or one elevated and one delisted and then rookied again. we will see.

staying on the topic, its great to see carazzo getting that much of the ball. would have really boosted his confidence and should be brought back into the seniors next week. as should russell.

I think Carazzo was one of our better performers earlier in the year. I remember mocking him at some stages last year because he was somewhat atrocious, but to be honest I think his performances in the back half have been at least reasonable, and 51 posessions yesterday isn't bad for the confidence, which is one thing that he could certainly do with.

Thats very good to hear. Would like to see him recalled for next weeks game and given plenty of game time as well.

what about Jesse Smith, picked up 28 touches and no doubt would of hit the target with all of them, surely deserved to be in the best.

Furthermore with the injuries to waite and fisher and carltons position in terms of being short of competitive at the best of times surely he deserves promotion and an opportunity to prove what he can do on the big stage. Continually plays well week in week out and its about time smith and players like blackwell russell and the like get opportunities and duds like sporn, wiggins, bannister, livingston and so forth get banished to the vfl for the remainder of the year with a delsiting awaiting them at the end of the season. The future of the blues is in the hands of these young kids not the seasons hacks such as teague, livingston, sporn, wiggins, deluca and bannister.

Haven't seen him play, but Flint looks to be a good pickup. Has been in Ants' best players a few times now. Would have to be under consideration for elevation at the end of the year.

I dont think being in the best automatically elivates you to the list, a one of performance isnt good enough. well done to him getting so many possies but seems to me like mitchell keeps puting in the same players in the best. there were a few guys this week that i wouldve put in the bullants best, that didnt get a mention. Flint definatley wouldnt be the first guy id pick to go up.

It was the first week I've seen him that he looked like a gun and took the game on.

I think I'd give him another week, to see if he can do it with some consistency.
