If thats the way you feel about the club there is a site called wehavethepassion thats full of people feeling sorry for themselves because they've suffered so much at the hands of this club. Got nothing in return of course, just misery and dissappointment. Footys equivalent to S and M. Judging by that post you'll love it.

Sorry Roundhouse I missed the whisp of smoke foretelling your election as Pope.
Got nothing in return? Just misery and dissapointment - thats the way....not enough in my post for you to play the matyr ....no problemo just make it up - insert it and then act holier than thou.
Love Freo (hence the great club comment dufus), also love WHTP - great site - we as fans are passionate and have greatly differing views.
Dont know how long you have been around the traps but judging from the ehem quality of your last 20 posts ...you seem to come on and bag people for daing to question if our club is heading in the right direction.
Now if you missed it my post was a joke, a little humour in what was a pretty lousy game.
Dont bag WHTP and dont bag those who dont simply post yay dockers and maybe get to know some of the posters before you give us your wisdom moron..... for the record I couldnt give a fat rats clacker what you think.

I was really dissapointed with the result on the weekend, but we just have to keep our heads up and keep playing positive footy.
I think we'll bounce back this week.
Although I'm still dissapointed we haven't replicated our form against the West Coast in any other game this season. :(

Actually Moo, trying to be objective here I was happy enough with Roundhouse, and was welcoming his input, and was certainly dismayed with the level of your reply. You may be trying to do things in humour and you are normally very funny, but there is a very dark edge to your posts ATM. It may well be suited to the dark clouds at WHTP.

Don't beat yourself up too much Roundhouse, I'm sure Moo was just showing a little black humour. I actually got a giggle out of it.
The picture shows where the club is at the moment ," flogging a dead horse", "one week up then all the way down," in all honesty we are a middle of the road outfit performing, well average.
In pre-season did anyone really believe we could win the flag or even a top 4 finish. Obviously after a loss, (and boy don't we know how to lose)
every one of us feel like carp but we are still in the 8. How many of you would have taken 5 from 9 at round one.
We are equal 5th, and 1 game out of the top 4 ! It aint that bad guys.
Even if it's raining grab some sunscreen and be positive because that mob up the road love nothing more than our club supporters blewing each other. Be there this sat night for the return of 211 to carry on some winning form, word is he wants to put the money grabbing snake back in his place.:thumbsu:

We got beaten by the hawkes and piled on a few goals in the dying minutes. Word was they took their foot the pump and made us look good. No mention of Freo putting together some good footy.
We toasted the Blues, they kicked back. We got bagged because they put some good footy together.
We beat Port and got a small amount of credit for winning against a team that were 'rebuilding'
We got beaten by the Crows. Poor effort. Should have won eh?
Saints then the Slime. Two wins against highly fancied teams.
Get flogged by the Dees. We get bagged. Not much mention of the fact they are agood team and were 'up'
Hard win against the Roos who managed to close down the Saints. Not much credit to us there.
Got fully cooked by the Lions who by all accounts played their best footy all year.
So their could be an argument that we are playing resonably consistant footy. When good teams are 'up' we get roasted. But in general we are going about our buisness getting everthing in place. I'm not even close to pannicking yet. Look at the odds for this week. The bookies get it right more times than not. The Tigers have been 'up' now for two weeks the chances of them putting in a blinder this week is getting longer. The chances of us getting close to our best is getting shorter.
We got stitched by the fixturing so the best we should expect at the end of round 22 is 5th or 6th. If we do any better we have over achieved.
If we do worse we have under achieved.
If dont make the eight CC will be gone.

When good teams are 'up' we get roasted.
We are supposed to be a 'good' team.
Why are we not 'up'?
That is the question you should be thinking about. Not what form other teams are in. We need to be in good form week in and week out. That's how premierships are won, the team WANTS IT!
This team does not want to win.

We are a good team. Last week we didnt have 211, Crowley, Headland, Elvis and Wiz. We got toasted in Brisbane by a team who will be put to the test this week.
This is not the time of year to be fully peaking. We might have showed a glimpse in the Derby. We should be looking at steady build up till the break, then go hard after round 12.
Time will tell.
With 3 games to go before the end of the split round and with 2 home games we are in a great position. If some had of offered 5 and 4 with round 10 at home at the beginning of the year most would have taken it.
The fact we have had two big losses is aboutb as important as two close wins. Both types results build character.

Well Block I am dismayed at your dismaysement.
One man's trash is another mans treasure, or as I like to put it one noobs post which adds very little except as a vehicle to bag another website and try to present himself as holier than thou is another poster's welcoming input.
So dismay away - the dark side of the force is strong with me ...if Seizenhousen wants to come here and talk trash about WHTP and put words in my house - then schiezen is gonna get it back double (one for me and one for WHTP).
I dont know this but I am guessing Schiezen is pushing a personal agenda with WHTP? Wow Moo how did you know? I'm just good like that.
Read the amazing first 20 posts of Schiezen .....all of it is just 'you dont support the club' or 'I was waiting for this'....dont need a noob poster who has no opinion other than I love Freo and you dont, if thats his agenda he should just post on Bigfoo ......sorry.

Don't call me a scumbag mate!
I have looked at your site and have no desire to go back. It is full to the brim of the same half-glass-empty doom and gloom about the current state of the club that Moo's post seemed to reflect. So, I suggested he might like to check it out. He's obviously well aquainted with the place, so its all good.
Maybe doom and gloom will become the prevalent attitude toward the club around here too. Thats fair enough, I can always choose to go elsewhere. But at the moment I honestly see a lot of tempered optimism and healthy debate here, and I can't help getting a little frustrated when I percieve that people are laying the boot in unfairly.

WTF
Enough of the personal attacks @rseclown. I've got no agenda with that site, I just think it is carp. Please re-read my posts again, especially the one in this thread where you say I'm putting words in your mouth. How ironic is that comment anyway, when you've just quoted me as saying "you don't support the club" when I've never said that in any post.
Who's being precious China, me or you?

You.....next question.
I agree irony is quite ironic....you took my cartoon and made a summation of me, so I read the first couple of lines of your previous posts and made a summation of you. It was deliberate use of the " " marks - now I know how Barry White and Albert Einstein felt - all 3 of us are misunderstood geniuses.
Don't like WHTP - dont go there. No agenda - how did you manage to work it into the conversation when I posted a cartoon? You dont just have an agenda - I'm guessing you have a terms of reference and a set of minutes too.
For those who are upset by my crankiness - watch out bawahahahahahahahahaha ....you may be next! (but probably not).
Now play nice and so will I.

That's a bit unfair. Barry White's genius is something I've never denied. Maybe I failed to see the full girth of yours though Moo. I guess I'll have to try harder.
I agree, time to move on.

Thanks for the support Moo I am amazed that there has been a thread here on BF bagging Fridge/whitegoods land because posters get the flick because they express views that are contary to the moderators view(s) on Docker life.
And over here at whtp because we allow people to express their virews mor e openly and obviously they upset or don't agree with the blind faithful we are considered heretics- get life!!
Actually most of the regulars at whtp are paidup members ie put up their hard earned to support the club. as share holders in the club have every right o express opinions about how the club is functioning on and off the field.
Roundhouse if you have the balls come on and debate the issues there are probably more thinking the glass is half full on whtp than half empty.

Who are the "blind faithful" you are referring to?
Do you honestly consider yourself a shareholder in the club? You know what that word means don't you?
And I am not just saying this to be pedantic. If you do consider yourself a shareholder then I can see why you think you are entitled to more from the club (including a share of the profits I guess) and not just what you get in your membership pack. I guess you want more for the "passion" you are investing or have invested in the club over the years.
The problem is when you start labelling people who don't feel they are owed anything by the club for their support as the "blind faithful". That is just bitterness.
Now, when I checked out your site I thought here is a place where dockers supporters who have similar gripes with the club seem to congregate. Not for me, but fair enough. You obviously have found a niche and good luck to you. I simply find it a bit frustrating when you take this gripe out on other supporters by labelling them the "blind faithful". At the risk of being labelled "holier than thou" again, I think it is going a little too far.

A loss is a loss but that was nowhere near as bad as the Brisbane debacle.
Result probably reflected what most of the experts thought - Dogs by a couple.
I'm very disappointed with our middle two quarters though! :(

Agreed nowhere as bad as the Brisbane game, but the Doggies are ravaged by injury, and had a few down with injury. Gotta wonder where Freo are really at.
Last quarter was also disappointing given the way opportunities were wasted.
