I notice that Nick Bachelor has slotted 3 goals a game for the last two weeks.
Anyone know how far off he might be to getting a game in the ones?
The few minutes he played in the NAB cup against Nth he looked like he could really play and we certainly need all the help we can get.

Still reckon he is too soft and has poor skills. The team has enough of these types already.

Still would be lacking a bit of fitness, despite the good form. Another few weeks at least...

Never really rated batch. Seems an outside type, who misses easy targets / Shots.

Does anyone know why he is the nominated Rookie ahead of others?

Who else would be?

Slade but i guess at the start of the season it would have been a flip of the coin if he would play much football this year due to his injury.

By the sounds of it not much hope of him being elevated by years end.

He was pretty good today, a lot better than when I've seen him previously. However I thought I saw him going off injured, maybe concussion, I don't know what he said or did but Sandringham seemed to be lining him up all day.

That's never stopped players from getting a senior game.

Agree. Have had too many like him in the past -intelligent, good background, nice fellas, etc.. Need more Pike, Hall, Carey characters and non playing mentors to go with them. There are people out there who would take on a minders-type job with some of so called wayward types.
