Timmy Watson reported on SEN this morning that Jason Johnson asked Sheeds and the selection committee to be dropped to Bendigo to find form and confidence.

Wouldnt suprise me as I cant imagine Sheeds dropping senior players like that for a week to get some form hence why Mark Johnson and Solomon havent missed a game as yet.

Why did Sheeds bother making idle threats at the start of the year saying no one will be carried this year and those out of form will be dropped.

With all the injuries this year we have been desperate for our older players to step up and show leadership, that's why we've stuck with them IMO.

Fans have been screaming for wins and we'd be even further away if JJ, Solly, Welshy, MJ and Peverill were all spending time at Bendigo at the one time for players with less than 10 games experience, we can't have it both ways.

We'll start to see the best of JJ soon, Solly, Welshy and MJ are showing good signs and we will see Hirdy and Campo and maybe Rili back real soon, we'll get some confidence back in everyone and we'll end up with 5+ wins :thumbsu:

Sheeds stated in his press conference after the West Coast game that JJ would be dropped. JJ may well have asked Sheeds to be dropped, but from what I can gather it was in Sheedy's thinking anyway.

Not happy with Tim's form at the moment. It's time for unity, he isn't helping. I know he has a responsibility to provide his opinion in given his current line of work but he could do things a bit better.

Regardless, when you give us much great service as a bloke like JJ does, you deserve the right to be given extra opportunities to find form in the seniors before going back.

Too right, too many people against us at the moment who love kicking us when we are down, we could at least get some positives from our own kind.

Well from reports JJ kicked 3 goals and got plenty of the footy for Bendigo. Hopefully the confidence is growing. We need him badly.

I believe that peverill got 36 touches and kicked 3 goals, while jason johnson got 33 touches and also kicked 3 goals. But from all reports we might see a couple of youngsters bought in the side this week. However im pretty sure jj will definately be back in the side.

i wonder how jobe is feeling? after so much nurture on our list jobe has found his feet and form even though essendon havnt... in the top 10 possy getters and thats great.. and to hear on several occasions his dad having a crack at the club and as he is part of the club having a crack at his own sun!.. i no timmy is just earning his wage.. but i would much prefer him as a mentor role down around the rooms helping us through ... or love to see another former great talk to the current boys (maybe have already)
